Founded by husband and wife team, Colin and Joan Humberstone, working from the spare bedroom of their home in North Wales, the business started by supplying Ford-Sure branded seat covers and floor mats to Ford’s UK dealer network, swiftly followed by British Leyland and Vauxhall.
During the 1970’s the company grew to become the leading supplier of service protection in the UK, relocating to dedicated office and warehouse space in Hythe on the Kent coast. From here the company had continued success, both with the supply of high-quality branded disposable protection products, and specialising in tailored PVC covers to protect vehicle wings, front and rear as required.
As our reputation grew, demand for our niche design capabilities increased, with more and more car manufacturers seeking a dedicated protective product range which quickly expanded to other industries such as Marine and Construction.
Following Colin’s retirement, his eldest daughter Fiona and her husband, Roger, relocated the business back to its original hometown of Ruthin in the Vale of Clwyd in 1997.
We continue to be run as a family business, with the third generation joining our ranks in 2016, and remain dedicated to providing the highest quality protective products with the best customer service.
